Outlook is the cold-email workhorse Microsoft built for 2026
Microsoft tightened deliverability hard in 2026, and Outlook is the surviving Microsoft-brand inbox that still lands in recipient primary tabs at production rates. Outlook’s inbox placement to other Microsoft recipients (M365 corporate accounts, Exchange-hosted inboxes) sits at 75–85% on aged stock, versus 15–25% on aged Hotmail. For B2B cold email work targeting corporate domains, Outlook is the obvious right tool.
Tier selection
- New (Fresh PVA) — $1.25. Brand-new phone-verified Outlook, mixed-country IPs. Best for: signup verification, single-use account creation, low-friction use cases.
- Mix Old (2014–2023) — $2.10. Aged Outlook with mixed geos. Cost-effective bulk.
- UK IP Old — $3. Aged Outlook with UK residential IP. Best for UK-targeted outreach where sender geography matters.
- USA Old (2014–2023) — $3.30. Aged USA Outlook. The default tier for production cold-email work.
How to use Outlook for cold email
For best results on cold outreach:
- Pair each account with a residential proxy in the account’s country. Datacenter IPs trigger Microsoft’s new-account suspicion filter within hours.
- Warm the account for 7–14 days before any outbound volume. Send 1–2 personal emails per day, receive replies, mark some inbound as “not junk” to build the reputation signal.
- Cap day-1 sending volume at 10 emails. Scale 2× per day for the first week, then linear ramps to working volume.
- Use Microsoft 365 sign-in flows (not just IMAP/SMTP) when possible. Outlook accounts that pass the M365 sign-in flow get higher trust score than IMAP-only access.
- Don’t link a payment method in week 1. Adding payment too early signals abuse pattern. Wait 14 days.
Why aged Outlook outperforms aged Hotmail
Microsoft’s 2026 deliverability filter weights Outlook account age more heavily than Hotmail age. A 2-year-old Outlook account hits ~80% Gmail inbox placement; a 2-year-old Hotmail account at the same usage pattern hits ~30%. The brand-tier difference is real and reflected in our pricing — aged USA Outlook at $3.30 versus aged USA Hotmail at $2.75 is not a markup gimmick, it’s a real deliverability delta.

Custom orders and Microsoft 365 integration
Outlook accounts integrate with consumer-facing Microsoft 365 (free tier). Business 365 requires a separate org subscription that we don’t sell — the account itself is M365-eligible but the subscription is a separate purchase. For agency client work needing M365-licensed Outlook with admin controls, we recommend pairing our aged Outlook tier with a standalone M365 Business Basic seat (~$6/user/month from Microsoft) rather than trying to buy combined inventory.
Geo-specific Outlook (UK, DE, FR, NL, AU, CA) on 50+ orders. Recovery-pair, cookies + tokens, and custom display-name pre-set on request.
